Here is a glimpse of the Old Lady’s bright future!

Bologna 1-2 Juventus

Juventus have already ended the Serie A online betting battle last week with their 3-0 victory over Crotone, but that didn’t stop them from ending the season on a high note and giving sports betting fans a primer of their future.

A future that they hope would feature 17-year-old Moise Kean who surprised betting websites after saving the Old Lady against Bologna with a late, late winner and becoming the first player born in 2000 to score in a Top-5 European League.

The Italian champions are already gearing up for their clash with Real Madrid in the Champions League final as they eye for a treble, having won the Scudetto and the Coppa Italia recently. However, the hosts threatened to ruin their preparations with a spirited showing at Stadio Renato Dall’Ara.

With Juve playing without Gianluigi Buffon (rest), Bologna broke the deadlock in the second half though Saphir Taider. The 25-year-old Algerian scored a beautiful goal from the top of the box, curling the ball across keeper Emil Audero who was also surprised with the shot that landed at the top-left corner of the net.

The Bianconeri, nonetheless, battled back and showed why they are Italy’s best. They had a difficult time finding clear-cut chances against the excellent Angelo De Costa, but an opportunity came in the 70th minute when De Costa deflected Gonzalo Higuain’s attempt only for Paulo Dybala to rebound the ball and chip in the equaliser.

Max Allegri then put in Kean to replace Dybala with less than 15 minutes remaining in regulation time; and although the youngster was relatively anonymous for the most part, he gave Juventus a big lift when he popped in the dying seconds of stoppage time to head home Miralem Pjanic’s free-kick.

Kean’s header, which is his first Serie A goal after just three appearances, prompted celebrations among a number of Juve fans who made the trip to Bologna.

Next up for Allegri’s outfit is the Champions League at Cardiff next week where he will hope to see another incredible performance not only from the established stars but also from his whole team.
