I think there’s enough reason for many of the Cleveland faithful to pound the panic button. With Tristan Thompson out, their old and thin frontcourt just got a lot weaker. To be honest, they need a god-like performance from LeBron James and decent outings from the rest of the Cavs if they want to steal a win from the Wizards.
Milwaukee Bucks @ Detroit Pistons (November 4, 07:00 GMT+8)
I admire Giannis Antetokounmpo as a player, but I doubt that he’ll be able to carry the team through 82 games and be fresh enough to compete in the playoffs. He definitely needs some help against a surprisingly good Pistons squad. If nobody in the visiting bench steps up, expect another tough loss for them. The Rockets are somehow getting by thanks to the high-scoring duo of James Harden and Eric Gordon. While I’m more than sure that they can hand over a loss to the Atlanta Hawks, the question now comes down to whether they can pound their hosts. My answer is a yes, so don’t hesitate to choose Houston’s -8.50 handicap for 2.02.
Phoenix Suns @ New York Knicks (November 4, 07:30 GMT+8)
The Suns are finally winning without even depending on Eric Bledsoe’s high-volume scoring, so things are only looking up for them. I think Devin Booker and company have more than enough talent to play and win in the Mecca. However, I don’t think Kristaps Porzingis would roll out the red carpet for them.

Sure, the Golden State Warriors handed the Spurs a tough loss, but I don’t think the final score is such due to their weaknesses. I’m more than sure that the Hornets will still be outclassed by the Spurs at the AT&T Center.

These two teams may be struggling, but there’s still an overwhelming favourite between the two.
Dirk Nowitzki hasn’t been the same player he once was, and the idea of him retiring at the end of this season is becoming more real by the minute. I don’t think the Mavs have enough of a roster to even contest DeMarcus Cousins and Anthony Davis. Place your bet money on New Orleans -5.00 @ 2.05.

This is an interesting battle in itself. Hassan Whiteside will be forced to guard a ball-handling big man in Nikola Jokic, meaning that he won’t be always ready to contest shots down low. If Erik Spoelstra doesn’t find a way to stop the prolific Serb, they’ll likely suffer a loss in the Mile-High City. Place your bets on Denver -5.50 @ 2.00.

The Boston Celtics are doing really well, winning five of their last games.
