And so now it is squeaky-bum time!

That phrase, famously coined by Sir Alex Ferguson, was made for this time of the season.

And let’s face it, Sir Alex knew better than anyone about the pressures in the English Premier League at the business end of the season.

After the final international break of the campaign, Premier League betting is back with football betting options galore.

What of my betting tips, though?

Liverpool vs Everton (April 1, 19:30 GMT+8)

So where do you start?

Well, the Merseyside derby is a good place.

Sadio Mane’s injury-time goal won this fixture for the Reds at Goodison Park just before Christmas and they will be quietly confident of a repeat.

This is especially true given Everton’s defensive woes with both Seamus Coleman and Ramiro Funes Mori both injured, the former horrifically, on international duty.

It should be tight as Liverpool aim to continue their recent hoodoo over their city rivals.

My 🌟 tip is total goal 2-3 @ 1.96.

Hull City vs West Ham United (April 1, 22:00 GMT+8)

Back-to-back games in the space of five days for Hull could well make or break their chances of Premier League survival.

They have improved under new boss Marco Silva and were certainly in the game at Everton a fortnight ago until Tom Huddlestone’s sending-off in the closing stages led to a late collapse.

Unlike last season, West Ham have proven inconsistent under Slaven Bilic who, if reports are to be believed, may not be offered a new contract as soon as this summer because of the club’s run of form.

With that in mind, there’s a bit of pressure on both clubs ahead of this one.

Again, I’m expecting goals and will go for a 🌟🌟 tip of total goal 4-6 @ 3.50.

Swansea City vs Middlesbrough (April 2, 20:30 GMT+8)

The proverbial six-pointer in which the loser will be deep in the quagmire.

If that is Boro, still under caretaker boss Steve Agnew, their miserable run will continue.

If it’s the Swans, the good work of Paul Clement may well be fruitless.

Boro can take heart from their defeat to Man Utd a fortnight ago, Swansea less so from their reverse at Bournemouth.

But I’m expecting the Welsh club to bounce back and put some daylight between themselves and the bottom three.

My 2 x 🌟🌟🌟 bets are: Asian Handicap -0.50 Swansea City @ 1.99 and First Half 1X2 Swansea City @ 2.79.
