If the rumours are proven to be true, then there might be a huge problem for Juventus moving forward.

However, I don’t think such a problem would happen. Even in the Portuguese forward would be out of form, there are just too many brilliant Juventus players for it to make that much of a difference. Of course, the league is an important priority for the Bianconeri. I don’t think Allegri would mess up and not field a strong team that wouldn’t be able to stomp SPAL.

Can SPAL Even Win at All?

If we brand Juventus as the role model that all Italian clubs should strive to become, SPAL are the classic middle-of-the-pack football club that struggles just to get things done after more than ten games in the season.

Meanwhile, SPAL have only won one of their last five matches, that being their superb October triumph over Roma. However, they haven’t won successive games since the start of the season.

The two clubs have only met each other last season, and the first game was a one-sided stomp by Juventus to the tune of 4-1. SPAL eventually got things around and pulled off an impressive draw against the Turin giants in their own home leg last season.

I don’t doubt Juventus’ ability to cruise through this game and win against SPAL without any problem at all. They have better players and an exciting brand of football that produces goals on the regular. I don’t see SPAL having any chance at all.
